Coca Cola recalls Coke Zero Sugar 20 oz UPC 049000040869 (Class II)
Potential that some bottles could contain glass fragments
Every FDA and USDA recall we hold for Coca Cola. This is a record of published agency notices, not an assessment of the company: a recall is often the result of a firm's own testing and voluntary action, and firms that test more thoroughly may appear here more often.
Potential that some bottles could contain glass fragments
The product may contain foreign material (glass) in some bottles.
The label does not list apple juice ingredient present in the beverage.
In a small percentage of the cans, when opened, the oval covering for the hole, which normally is pushed down into the can, instead opens upward. This produces a loud "pop" sound. Recall initiated on 4/29/16.
Undeclared aspartame in the product.
A Diet Dr. Pepper labeled product contain regular Dr. Pepper.
Equipment malfunction led to ingredients to be blended at levels that are inconsistent with approved formulations.
There is the potential that some of the bottles could exhibit spoilage before end of shelf life.
