RCI Produce recalled MexpoGroup brand cactus leaves due to pesticide contamination with no tolerance levels in the US. Consuming this produce could expose people to harmful pesticide residues.

Reason for recall

CA Dept of Pesticides tested Cactus pads and found pesticides Monocrotophos at 0.581 ppm, Carbendazim as Thiophanate Methyl at 0.510 ppm and Captan (THPI) at 0.313 ppm. There is no tolerance for these pesticides in the US.
