Produced Without Benefit of Inspection
WASHINGTON, Feb. 6, 2018 Olymel S.E.C./ L.P., an Alberta, Canada establishment, is recalling approximately 4,618 pounds of raw intact pork products because the products were imported from Canada and not presented for import re-inspection upon entry into the United States, the U.S. Department of Agricultures Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The raw intact pork products were produced on various dates from Jan. 22, 2018 through Feb. 5, 2018. The following products are subject to recall: [View Labels (PDF Only)]
These items were shipped to retail and restaurant locations in Oregon and Washington and exported to a Department of Defense Commissary in Japan.
The problem was discovered on Feb. 5, 2018 by an FSIS import inspector.
There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. Anyone concerned about a reaction should contact a healthcare provider.
Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them. These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase.

Blackwing Organic Meats beef and pork products were produced and distributed without USDA inspection, including ground beef, steak, and stew meat. Uninspected meat may contain harmful pathogens and is unsafe to consume.
Ghanaianway Restaurant and Grocery LLC's Salted Lamb products were produced without USDA inspection. The safety and quality of these products cannot be verified.
